Please join us for the Annual Season Opening of the Central Washington Agricultural Museum April 5th from noon – 4pm. FREE ADMISSION! DONATIONS are always gratefully accepted.
All museum exhibits will be open. Plan to visit the art gallery in the silo. See horse related artifacts and photographs in the horse & buggy building. The model train in the railcar will be operating. View the Young’s cabin, Amos cabin, Visitor center, Magness tool room, and Keys homestead, farm wife life display, milk house, and more!
Watch demonstrations in the Olde Yakima Letterpress Museum, the blacksmith shop, the sawmill, and the apple packing line. The little ones will be able to ride the kiddie train, kiddie tram, and/or the merry-go round. Activities and demonstrations subject to volunteer availability.
This is a walking tour - wear comfortable shoes, we have 15+ acres and all exhibits will be open! PLEASE NOTE: The Drive-Thru route will be CLOSED for this event, for the safety of families.
Audio Tour cards will be available to each family attending. Use your mobile device to access information on 33 educational stations throughout the museum. After you have the card, you can access the information on this tour at any time. You do not have to be at the museum. Keep the card and use it over and over. Show your family and friends what can be seen at the Ag Museum.
The popular Horse~n~Harness Group of the Agricultural Museum will be on site giving horse drawn wagon rides.
Come and help us celebrate. Trams will run from the parking area at Fullbright Park up to the entrance of the museum. Parking will not be allowed on the museum grounds.
