The Central Washington Agricultural Museum's PIONEER POWER SHOW is held the third weekend in August each year. Save the date, come on out and learn about agricultural history. Wander through the exhibits & enjoy an all-around good old-fashioned time!

Join us at Union Gap’s Fullbright Park for this exciting event August 17-18, 2024. Bill Allen and his wife Sandy will be our Grand Marshalls this year and our featured equipment will be Allis Chalmers.

There will not be a Swap Meet held in conjunction with the Pioneer Power Show in 2024. The organizer of that portion of the show has stepped down and we are unable to fill the position. We may be able to have a swap meet in the future. Please contact us if you have questions.

The Pioneer Power Show was started in Toppenish in 1981 by the Central Washington Antique Farm Equipment Club. In 1991, the event was moved to Union Gap. In 2018, it became an joint event with the Central Washington Agricultural Museum taking lead.

See the equipment of yesteryear with vintage trucks and engines on display for the equipment enthusiasts and watch our popular equipment parade. Learn about blacksmithing and watch demonstrations of the turn of the century sawmill, and the apple packing line. Enjoy the quilt displays, other historic exhibits and more. Enjoy freshly baked bread at the Bread Shack.

Especially for the kids there are several free activities. Ride the kiddie train, the kiddie wagon, and for smaller children, the animal swing. Participate in old-time kids’ games. Children can also try to win a bike or toy by playing the Scavenger Hunt game.

For those wanting to experience some old-time fun, there will be tractor pulls, tractor games and draft horse buggy demonstrations, and more. So have fun while learning about the area’s agricultural history.
